The Well-Grounded Java Developer

Based off the popular title ‘The Well-Grounded Java Developer’, this talk covers four major themes (Java 7, Functional Programming, Polyglot Programming and Modern Concurrency) which we believe that all Java developers should start practising to stay ahead of the game in 2012 and beyond. Whilst external aspects such as cloud, NoSQL, etc have been grabbing more than their share of the headlines, the four topics described above are reinventing the day to day practice of coding for many Java developers.
